autocompleteEditor does not work

When I try to link the person I'm working on to another person, the dialogue box has the title "Search for an object to open" and only allows to "Open" another object (which does not work). Interestingly, this depends on what I tried to do before in the formular:

1. Uploading the Schema, "Open", "Create New Object", "Choose" Friend --> autocompleteEditor-open.png ("Search for an object to open" and "Open")
2. Uploading the Schema, "Create New Object", "Choose" Friend --> autocompleteEditor-set.png ("Search for an object to open" and "Set")
