We noticed that the elimination of double tei:handShift is buggy and decided
that the solution of this should better be implemented in the second
serialisation step that tidies up the whole document because the hierarchy of
the XML is flatter.

For easier serialisation the creation of tei:div[@type = "section"] takes
places in a separate transformation.

After a brief discussion we decided it would be better to keep the tei:choice
construct as a whole. While we only need the text content of tei:abbr in the
serialization of the edited text, keeping tei:choice might yield better
results while searching the website.

Initially we wanted not only to set tei:pb when a new page starts but also
we aimed to encompass the text of a page with tei:div[@type = "page"] because
this seemed to give us more opportunities for serialization.

However, while proceeding to the term expansion of tei:milestone we realized
that the paragraph and section structure of the milestones interferes with the
hierarchical structure imposed by tei:div[@type = "page"]. Therefore we
decided to drop tei:div[@type = "page"] in favour of tei:div[@type = "section"]
and tei:p.
