In Markdown editor: Cannot enter letter "o" from keyboard

This issue has happened to me twice. I have not found a way to reproduce it. When I use the markdown editor and I try to enter the letter o, the letter did not appear on the screen. I could however paste it after having copied it from somewhere else. Reloading the page fixes the problem.

Could this have something to do with the shortcuts still being active?
