Mobile device enhancements

Summary

On mobile devices it can be quite difficult to interact with the page. This issue should collect some common problems, which need addressing.

• Depending on the size of the screen, the toolbar may be cut off
• Further it is quite difficult to open the sidebar as the resizer is quite small on mobile
• The center of the new pinch zoom feature is not respecting device pixel ratio
• Pinch zoom does not work in the doodle tool if touch move is activated

Ios issues (tested on iPad)

On IOS it is now possible to install as a PWA. But there are still some issues in the mobile layout:

Sorted by difficulty

• Caching sometimes does not reload the book if it is stale
• Move text with pen is not tracking pen, some dpi mismatch?
• Placing snips by pen has some weird acceleration values seems like 1.5x normal
• Items can't be clicked on the toolbar if it is collapsed (ipad)
  • Also cant be expanded
• Some swipe gestures are triggered unexpectedly, e.g. back (left to right)
• Top bar is not clickable, adjust to add a bit of padding
• Icon title do not disappear

Other issues

• Login and Signup buttons disappear on small devices
