Packaging Axis2 client libraries for Eclipse does not seem to be easy. There is the QName issue (see 1292), there's a bunch of stuff that should be packed seperately (e.g., Axiom), I don't know what do do with the XML Apis ...
The current solution is one big Axis2 package containing virtually all the jars delivered with Axis2, so there's, e.g., the server runtime, as well. This adds a lot of bloat to Eclipse.
I think there should be
- org.apache.axis2[.client?] with only the minimal Axis2 stuff
- org.apache.axiom with, well, Axiom
- some extra plug-ins for the dependencies
- and a feature org.apache.axis2[.client] packaging all those client libraries.
