chore: rename master to main

Mathias Goebel requested to merge main into master

This MR provides the necessary changes to rename “master” to “main” as we want to go for a more open more inclusive culture and therefore removing terms like this that are offense to some people.

  • MR approval rules
  • remove master branch on remote
