Represent Papers/Publications in MP
Initial data model did not explicitly introduce Papers/Publications as MP entities, just the more generic InformationObject
.
As we plan to contextualize tools e.g. with papers that mention them (see e.g. data-ingestion#8 (closed)), we need to decide how to represent these entities.
a) minimal option not as first-class citizens for now, just links from the tools pointing to some external representation of the paper
b) first-class citizen Papers also have a dedicated detail view. Links from tools to related publications would point to this detail view, where bibliographic metadata for the papers is shown and a link to external This would be a cleaner, more consistent setup and would allow to use publications as nodes in the contextualisation graph, so that one would see also all the other mentioned tools in one publication, if there were more (this is not possible with option a)
- Ingest all publications or just those that mention tools?
- Ingest the full-text of the publications too - this would be theoretically useful for full-text searching and would especially allow to reapply tool-extraction-script, see data-ingestion#9)
