This MR provides...
- an implementation of the editorial comments and references to other works roughly according to #131 (comment 284489)
The wording isn't approved by the scholars yet; They prioritize the variants, but since this is a low hanging fruit that also works well out-of-the-box in the front end, we decided to give it a go.
